LA FONTANA DI VETRO　（NASCITA）

Seguso’s glass work "nascita" in the center of the fountain is consisted of the two transparent shell parts and the oval form inside, expressing the theme of “the birth of life”.
This work was intended to install on the marble fountain designed by Yoshiro Ikehara, an architect, the designer of Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, at our museum’s openning(1996). The collaboration of the glass artist and the architect is in harmony with the space as the symbol of our museum.
